Latvian discus thrower Dadzīte gets Paralympic silver

Latvia has got the first medal in the Tokyo Paralympic games with discus thrower Diāna Dadzīte bringing home the silver.

Dadzīte threw the discus at 25.02 meters, while the Chinese gold medalist threw 26.64 meters and the Mexican bronze medalist threw 24.11 meters.

Five years ago, Dadzīte got the Paralympic bronze in discus and gold in javelin.
