Ostapenko earned 130 points for getting into the third round of the tournament, repeating her last year’s performance.

In the second round of the tournament Sevastova, No. 12 seed, (WTA No. 11), defeated the young Polish talent 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Sevastova earned 130 WTA points for her win over Swiatek (WTA No. 49).
