The webinar will take place August 2 at 15:00 and is being organized by the Ministry of Defense for science and technology startups about participating in the NATO Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) pilot programs.
The webinar will outline opportunities in the areas of energy sustainability, secure information exchange, and surveillance technology.
More information on the DIANA program is availabe at www.nato-diana.org.
The first phase will last six months, during which the 30 program participants from across the alliance will receive €100,000 in funding, as well as access to a network of five accelerators, to develop dual-use innovations for the alliance's key challenges.
The second stage of the challenge program will also last six months, but the amount of the allocated funding will reach 300,000 euros.
The purpose of NATO DIANA is to promote the development of dual applicability start-ups in NATO member states by promoting cooperation between innovators, researchers and end users.
One of the test centers of the DIANA program is located in the Ādaži base near Rīga, where a 5G test environment has been created, creating an ecosystem for developing and testing new generation wireless technologies.
