The Mayor of Rīga, Mārtiņš Staķis, and foreign investors in Latvia recently took part in a discussion about corporate governance in the Latvian capital and hopes to "reshape Rīga into an orderly, open, green and people-friendly metropolis of Northern Europe", and now the discussion is available to view online for those interested in the subject.
At some length Staķis outlines the plans his fairly new administration has for the capital, before the investors give their input.
As well as Staķis, participants include Frode Gronvold, CEO of Linstow Center Management, Ilze Grase-Ķibilde, General Manager of Moller Baltic Import, Aleksis Karlsons, a representative of the Omnium Properties group, and Santa Rozenkopfa, Managing Director of CBRE Baltics.
The discussion was organized by the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia with the support of the Norwegian Embassy.
