TechChill returns to Rīga this week

Take note – story published 1 year ago

The annual TechChill business and startup event makes a welcome return this week.

Describing itself as "The main tech and startup event in the Baltics bridging the gaps in knowledge, skills and network," the main event runs April 28-29 at the Hanzas Perons venue in Rīga.

Registration is required to attend the core events in person and is also mainly restricted to registered participants who have paid for the privilege. However, TechChill is also offering what it calls "an extensive program of free events available to anyone interested" on April 27.

"With TechChill, we want to reach two audiences. TechChill itself has always been and will be about and around start-ups. Its visitors are usually looking for answers to questions about how to validate your idea, how to attract investors, and how to scale your start-up. But this time, free master classes are more for those who have always dreamed of their own company, but for various reasons the idea has not yet come true,” said Annija Mežgaile, the head of TechChill 2022 in advance publicity material.

Free master classes will take place throughout the day at Fantadrom, in the territory of Jauna Teika, Gustava Zemgala gatve 74. All attendees must be registered in advance.

Lecturers from different countries and companies of the world will talk about how to build a brand, how to promote it internationally, how to present your idea to investors and how to address investors - so called "business angels".
