Mosphera scooters are so far recognisable for being used in the military industry and have been welcomed by Ukrainian forces. The Mosphera scooter is now also manufactured for other civil industries – port, agriculture, forestry, logistics, and they have been used by Latvian police for a year.
Klāvs Ašmanis, co-owner of the company, points out that initially electric scooters were manufactured for the military industry and security authorities, however, it has been concluded that the potential and use of the scooters is broad. Confidence in the wider use of the product in other areas and its applicability in other industries has been given by the interest and recommendations expressed by representatives from different sectors.
“Virtually every week we encounter interest or some new application provided by our product - from postmen in Portugal, security services in Spain, localized firefighters (“one-man-fireman”) near urban areas, to forestry right here in Latvia,” Ašmanis said.
There has also been interest from ports, large logistics parks, and agricultural companies. “Global Wolf Motors” thinks about opening a new production facility in Liepāja in the near future.
Global Wolf Motors currently exports Mosphera scooters to more than 20 countries around the world.
Global Wolf motors worked with a turnover of 188,610 euros in 2022 and suffered a loss of 191,051 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” information. The company's financial data for 2023 has not yet been released. Global Wolf Motors is registered in 2020 and has a core capital of €3,000. The owners of the company are Klāvis Ašmanis and Anta Bukava in equal parts.
