“June was the first full month since the resumption of our operations on May 18. Clearly, the demand for flights is recovering. Every week we are transporting more and more passengers and getting new bookings as well as renewing flights to more and more destinations. We also see passengers complying with our health measures that follow the recommendations of the responsible authorities,” said Martins Gauss, executive director of airBaltic.
In June, airBaltic carried out 1,091 flights. The 15-minute punctuality rate of airBaltic flights reached 98.2% in June. This indicates that more than 98 out of 100 airBaltic flights departed at the scheduled time or with a delay of up to 15 minutes.
By the end of August 2020, airBaltic plans to operate 69 routes from the Baltic States.
