Throughout September, in regional passenger coaches and trains, passengers are asked to save their ticket after purchase. It can then be registered on panembileti.lv. The site is not active yet but is coming. At the beginning of October, three tickets will be drawn, owners of which will receive EUR 300 prizes.
This is necessary not only for passengers themselves but for Road Transport Administration. According to board chair Kristiāns Godiņš, these tickets help to form statistics which later are helpful to figure out which routes are needed and how frequent transportation is necessary on that route.
