Some airBaltic flights to Gdansk, Vienna and Helsinki cancelled Thursday

Latvia’s airBaltic carried has cancelled some of the May 17 flights to and from Gdansk, Vienna and Helsinki because of technical reasons, the airline’s representatives told LETA.

airBaltic apologizes to the passengers for the changes in their travel plans. In the situation where a flight is being cancelled airBaltic is doing everything it can to notify clients individually, the airline’s representatives said.

airBaltic is has timely contacted all passengers of the above flights to offer them alternative travel options as soon as possible. Most of the passengers have already been registered for the nearest possible flights. They have also received meal vouchers, airBaltic representatives said.

Later on Thursday airBaltic specified that only some flights have been cancelled: "The Latvian airline airBaltic today cancelled some flights to and from Vienna (BT431/432), Gdansk (BT465/466), and Helsinki (BT301/302) due to technical reasons. But flights BT303/304, BT 305/306, BT 307/308, BT325 to Helsinki and flights BT433/434 to Vienna are planned to be carried out according to the schedule."
