Take note – story published 2 years ago

A van has been found stuck on the pedestrians' passage on the railway between the stations of Zasulauks and Torņakalns, Passenger Rail (PV) said on Twitter May 12.

"The reason for several trains being 20-40 minutes late on the Tukums route. Apparently the pedestrian crossing on the section between Torņakalns and Zasulauks is not meant for car traffic. Good thing the train stopped in time. Let us be patient and wait for the restoration of train movement!" said the quote from PV.

According to PV, no humans were inside the car. Rescuers are working to lift it off the railway.
