Baltic, Polish Foreign and Defense Ministers to meet in Rīga

On 13 September 2021, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Ministers of Defense of the Baltic States and Poland will gather for a joint meeting in Rīga to discuss current security policy matters and regional challenges, the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

"The officials will share views on security policy challenges in the region, the decisions made at the meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government in Brussels this past June, and the development of NATO’s next Strategic Concept. The issues of NATO partnerships will also be discussed," the MFA said. 

As part of the visit, the Ministers of Defense of the Baltic States and Poland will visit the Camp Ādaži military base.
