Russia expels diplomats, as expected

In an expected move March 29, Russia announced the expulsion of several diplomats from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in reaction to the recent expulsion from those countries of Russian diplomatic staff.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs confirmed that three diplomats will be expelled from the Latvian Embassy in Moscow in the tit-for-tat move.

Midnight tonight is the deadline for the three Russian embassy staff in Rīga to pack their bags and get the hell out of Dodge, to put it in undiplomatic terms.
