Dombrovskis reiterated that Harmony has no strict “red lines” for cooperation with potential partners in parliament. Asked which political groups would be the easiest for Harmony to work with, Dombrovskis said that these would be parties that support most of the plans included in Harmony’s election program.
Asked about Harmony’s possible future cooperation with Latvia’s Russian Union, Dombrovskis avoided a direct answer but said that this party’s activities and ideology reflect the Russian speaking population’s grudges and "protest voice".
Dombrovskis also avoided a direct answer to the question about potential cooperation with KPV LV, reiterating Harmony’s readiness for constructive cooperation with any party.
Dombrovskis also said that Harmony is the “only real alternative” that could put Latvia on the right track, while “all others are essentially one party”.
Latvia is due to hold the next Saeima elections on October 6.
