The allowance of €200 will be received by people declared in Latvia who receive:
- old-age pension;
- compensation for the loss of a guardian;
- compensation for loss of working capacity;
- State social security allowance;
- special care allowance for children and adults.
The payout is scheduled to start in April.
If a person receives several benefits at the same time, such as an old-age pension and compensation for loss of capacity, one payment will be granted to the person.
Previously, benefits of €500 per each child were granted to families.
