The State Security Service (VDD) has called for the prosecution of three leaders of the DVS Urantija 'healing center' organization for justifying and glorifying the Russian war in Ukraine, as well as provoking national and ethnic hatred, VDD said on April 27.

VDD proposes to prosecute the management and the most active member of that organization.

Criminal proceedings against representatives of the DVS Urantija organization were initiated on March 1, 2022, by the VDD on the alleged justification and glorification of crimes against peace and war crimes, as well as the possible inducement of national and ethnic hatred or intolerance by the personnel responsible for the organization through an automated data processing system.

The VDD investigation revealed that the organization's leaders purposefully and systematically distributed an ideology focused on exonerating and glorifying Russian military aggression in Ukraine, as well as provoking hatred against Ukrainians, residents of Ukraine, Jews, and Roma.

Leaders of the organization have advertised their ideologies both in esoteric events organized by DVS Urantija, in materials sent in e-mail, in publications on social networking sites Facebook and Telegram, and in a number of dedicated websites. The organization had dozens of members who regularly participated in the events it organized, according to VDD.

Similarly, in public statements by the leaders of the organization, VDD has identified the justification for the crimes committed in World War II against Jews and Roma, as well as the promotion of anti-Semitism.
