Ignoring repeated commands to pull over, the motorcyclist - complete with passenger riding pillion - makes an ill-advised run for it, reaching speeds of more than 200 km/h but is unable to shake off the law and is eventually captured, with his helmet given a robust introduction to the bonnet of the police pursuit vehicle.
Both driver and passenger were arrested.
