One of the young people living abroad is from Germany and two are from the UK.
It is currently unknown how many of the applicants will be accepted to the VAD after inspections and health assessments.
There is still time until May 15 to apply for the first, voluntary, draft of the State Defense Service. The first draft of the State Defense Service takes place on July 1, 2023. The next draft on January 1, 2024, will select eligible recruits at random, giving preference to volunteers.
