23 municipalities deemed 'safe' for on-site learning

Pupils from grades 1-4 will be able to learn onsite in 23 municipalities where the cumulative incidence rate is currently below 220, according to the information published by Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC) March 10.

Starting Monday, March 15, pupils will be able to go to school in these municipalities:

  1. Alsunga municipality
  2. Cibla municipality
  3. Durbe municipality
  4. Ērgļi municipality
  5. Jaunjelgava municipality
  6. Jaunpiebalga municipality
  7. Jēkabpils municipality
  8. Kandava municipality
  9. Kuldīga municipality
  10. Mērsrags municipality
  11. Nereta municipality
  12. Nīca municipality
  13. Pārgauja municipality
  14. Pāvilosta municipality
  15. Pļaviņas municipality
  16. Rucava municipality
  17. Rundāle municipality
  18. Sala municipality
  19. Sēja municipality municipality
  20. Skrunda municipality
  21. Strenči municipality
  22. Vecumnieki municipality
  23. Viesīte municipality.

The list of municipalities where onsite learning is safe enough is published every Wednesday by SPKC.
