Take note – story published 3 years ago

Although it was initially expected that the three extra weeks of winter holidays would result in an extension of the school year for pupils in years 1 to 6, it will not happen, Latvian Radio reported March 19.

It is planned that the learning process for years 1-11 will end on May 31 as usual and certificates for education will be issued on June 11.

On the other hand, 12th graders will end the study year on May 14, followed by an exam session which will conclude on June 18.

Due to the pandemic, year 9 State exams are canceled, but 12th graders are scheduled to have their exams onsite in accordance with epidemiological safety measures.
