The largest vaccination coverage among senior residents continues to be in the age group 60-69 years. The smallest proportion is in the age group of 90+, where there is also the steepest increase: 7.1% during the week November 8 to 15.

Looking at the vaccination in the European Union countries, Latvia is no longer at the very bottom, said Pavļuts. The minister also said that only 0.31% of the vaccines have been disposed, which is a low indicator.
