Šobrīd Latvijas ārstniecības iestādēs strādā jau 82 mediķi no Ukrainas. Paldies visiem, kas viņiem palīdz iejusties darbā un dzīvē Latvijā! https://t.co/AwLITwSbWJ— Daniels Pavluts 🇱🇻 🇺🇦 (@pavluts) July 6, 2022
In order to make it easier for Ukrainian medics to participate in new jobs, specialists at Stradiņš Hospital and Riga East Hospital help them to acquire the necessary skills via a three-day training course organized by the Development Society of Stradiņš Hospital.
Document acquisition is facilitated and knowledge of Latvian language is not required for Ukrainian medical professionals to work in the medical field.
Initially, the interest of Ukrainian medical workers in employment in Latvia was not high but now has evidently picked up.
