Big Xmas market to take place in Ķīpsala, Rīga

A three-day Christmas market, claiming to be the biggest in the Baltics, will take place a week before Christmas in the exhibition hall "Ķīpsala" in Rīga, the center stated on December 8.

Currently, 297 companies from Latvia, 112 from Lithuania and 14 from Estonia have confirmed participation in the event, according to the organizers of the fair Baltic Expo.

Textiles, crafts, jewelry, accessories, toys and clothing for children, candles, soaps, winter seasonal treats, various drinks, games, books, and more will be on offer.

During the event there will also be various activities and entertainment for children and families.

On the first day of the fair, December 15, it will be possible to donate blood – in a mobile point of the state blood donor center.

Entry to the fair is free of charge.

And don't forget that in Rīga central Dom square, in the shadow of the cathedral, the traditional Christmas market is also taking place every day 11:00-20:00 until January 7.
