Ten years ago, Jaunalksne was named one of the US' International Women of Courage for her work exposing the hypocrisy, shady business dealings and suspicious funding sources and foreign connections of several leading Latvian politicians who attained power by dubious means.
A decade later with the US under the administration of Donald Trump, Jaunalksne reflects on her experiences in the interview HERE, saying: "I make sure that bad people don’t have it too easily."

This year's International Women Of Courage awards were presented March 29 in the US with first lady Melania Trump among the speakers urging women to "fight for their rights and the rights of others."
