Saturday will be windy and rainy at times, but the air will be warm. Temperatures will rise, reaching a peak of +15 C to +19 C during the day. Warmest weather of +18 C to +19 C is expected in Zemgale and Latgale.
Southwest wind gusts will reach 12-17 meters per second on Saturday, coast around 20 meters per second.
Windy weather and occasional rain are also expected on Sunday, but then temperatures will start to drop, both at night and in the day it will be +6 C to +11 C.
Winds will get slower next week, there will be less rainfall, but it will get cooler and cooler. In the first half of the week, frost will only come from place to place, but later will cover most of Latvia, with some places even reaching the -5 C mark.
