Monday will be the warmest day of the week whereas Tuesday will be the coolest, with wet snow in Vidzeme and Latgale. The temperature will drop to +1 C minimum at night and climb up to +8 C maximum during the day.
The coldest night this week will be the night to Wednesday, with temperatures potentially dropping below zero. The other weeknights the temperature will mostly be within +2 C to +8 C and during the days +7 C to +13 C.
Current long-term forecasts show that Latvia will get colder by the end of the month. By March 28 or 29, a cold wave is due for several days with subzero temperatures at night and slightly above zero during the day, with snowfall also expected.
