On Thursday and Friday, air temperatures will be -1 C to +5 on both nights and days, precipitation is often expected, both rain and snow. In many places, a snow layer will start to form again, but it will melt soon enough.
Temperatures will drop a bit on Saturday and will be near zero across Latvia both day and night, with some frost set for Sunday, December 24. On Christmas Eve, snow will fall in many parts of Latvia.
However, the frost will not be sustained and, likely, thaw will gradually take over Latvia from the west on the first day of Christmas.
