Heatwave expected Wednesday to Friday

Latvia is to experience a late heatwave from Wednesday to Friday, forecasts say, according to LSM's Latvian-language service.

Temperatures are to grow Tuesday, growing to +19..+22C and +24..+27 on Wednesday, possibly reaching +28 in central Latvia.

Local heat records are expected to fall across the country.

Such temperatures are to keep until Saturday, when a cold weather front is to bring temperatures down to +12..+17.
