Round thing that emits light, heat observed over Rīga

Take note – story published 7 years and 10 months ago

After what might have been two weeks of true Riga noir, a mysterious, shiny golden sphere rose over the Baltic capital.

Locals LSM spoke to were unsure as to the cause of the phenomenon, however drifters from the south were able to explain what it is though we're admittedly still struggling to grasp the concept in full.

According to them it is a large round object that keeps the earth in place and also keeps it light and warm, sometimes. It also supposedly follows a path that changes slightly in time.

That it is larger than the earth might sound unreasonable as it's really no bigger than a football, regardless of the vantage point, but that's what they said about it.

Observing the strange phenomenon at the LSM office, the eldest, who claimed to be keeping 'the sun', as the drifters call it, in memory, were at first adamant that they had in fact seen the object before and surmised that it might simply have disappeared and reappeared.

Eventually they admitted they're not so sure it had ever existed in the first place.

However this 'sun' seems to be here to stay, so all are eager to make peace with it and try to make good of the new conditions.
