Art Museum opens its doors to visitors in 'safety test mode'

From April 21 to May 4, the first pilot project promoted by the Ministry of Culture for the safe resumption of public activities of cultural sites will be implemented at the Latvian National Museum of Art (LNMM).

The objective of the pilot project is to examine the feasibility of epidemiologically safe cultural events for visitors and employees in accordance with previously developed guidelines.

Visitors, when booking a time in advance, will be able to visit the exhibit, joint project of the three Baltic States, Wild Souls. Symbolism in the Art of the Baltic States.

From an epidemiological point of view, museums have been identified as one of the most secure public places, in which a steady flow of visitors can be organized, a 2-metre distance and other epidemiological safety requirements can be met, the LNMM said.
