"The new exhibition season will surprise with the variety of media - exhibiting paintings, graphic art, glass art and photography projects together," a press release says.
From 7th of July in Rothko Center the outstanding Israeli artist Moshe Kupferman will have a retrospective, highlighting the artist's abstract paintings and graphics, which have made a great contribution to Israel's culture.
Two Latvian photography projects - Andris Zēgners' In the Light' and Iveta Vaivode's 'Sword Lilies' offer topical and contemporary Latvian photography.
Other attractions will include Marta Ģibiete's glass art projects and events overseen by Maija Dragūne and Artūrs Bērziņš.
The summer season runs until September 10. On July 7 at the opening event, all exhibitions will be open for one hour free of charge.
