Laba Daba
The music and arts festival Laba Daba takes place August 4 to 6 at the recreation center 'Ratnieki' in Līgatne parish. The festival, as usual, will involve a lot of alternative music styles, according to the organizers, "the kind of music that brightens up the world and cheers up people". Apart from music there will also be theatrical and circus performances, dance, cinema, sports games, and workshops.

Summer Sound
On August 4 – 5, the eleventh annual Summer Sound festival takes place on the beach of Liepāja, which gathers tens of thousands every year. The artists participating, just to name a few, are Felix Jaehn (Germany), Kalush Orchestra (Ukraine), Revive (Sweden), Sibil Vane (Estonia), MEDUZA (Italy), Alle Farben (Germany), as well as dozens of local artists.

Bauska TASTE
The fifth Bauska TASTE festival will take place on August 4 and 5 in the Bauska Castle Hill Park (Bauskas pilskalna parks) with two stages, a design fair, dancing, "breathtaking events and relaxing moments of rest". Among the artists – Ozols, Shipsea, Sudden Lights, Latvian Radio Bigband, and others.
