White Night
The annual modern culture forum “White Night” will take place in Riga on September 9 to 10, 2023, for the 18th consecutive year. This year's program includes events and projects that will represent a broad supply of contemporary culture – music, cinema and video, poetry, performances, etc., in many districts of Rīga – center, old town, Pārdaugava, Pļavnieki, Teika, Brasa, Vecmīlgrāvis, and Sarkandaugava.

A Walk with Poets
A tradition of the international Poetry Days Festival is a walk through a part of Rīga together with poets, stopping at unusual places to hear some unusual poetry. This year the walk will take you through the district of Pārdaugava, with the poets Ērika Bērziņa, Anna Auziņa, Inga Gaile, Jānis Rokpelnis, Ivars Šteinbergs, Arvis Viguls, Artis Ostups, Kārlis Vērdiņš, Rihards Bargais, Marts Pujāts, Māris Salējs.
The meetup time and place is 12:00 on Saturday, September 9, at the Āgenskalns Market bus stop (Āgenskalna tirgus). The walk ends at 15:00 at the cultural venue NOASS with a concert of the Sigma band.
Baltic Sea Docs
The Baltic Sea Documentary Film Forum takes place at the cinema K Suns from September 5 to 10. All films will be screened in their original languages with subtitles in English and Latvian. All films and their screening times can be found on the Baltic Sea Docs website.
