Three for an Artsy Weekend in Latvia

In case you are not going out in nature during the upcoming summery weekend, we recommend a few ways to appreciate different kinds of art in the capital city.

Rīga Photomonth and AI art

May is Rīga Photomonth, and this year, the artist is artificial intelligence (AI). In a specially designed gallery on Ģertrūdes Street 64, Rīga, an exhibition "Latvia through the eyes of AI" is open every day, with a slightly different theme every day. AI will be asked to interpret different aspects of Latvia and Latvians – 31 aspects altogether, one for each day of May.

The exhibition is open 14:00 to 20:00. Entrance is free.

Rīga grafitti and street art

On Saturday, May 20, a walk through Rīga with the aim of exploring the city's street art takes place. Throughout the 2-hour walk, a guide will take all attendants not only through the examples of street art as decoration but also through the city's scenic history.

The meeting point is Miera and Šarlotes Street intersection at 19:00. To participate, one must apply on the website.
