150 willow trees are to be stood around the stage. The company Rīga Forests representative Irisa Janevica said that “the Song Festival will feature 150 white willows, the trees are 4-5 meters tall and are currently being transported. Our employees put them in boxes and water them. Then they'll be in the shadows. Toward the autumn, these 150 trees will grow and delight the promenade of Ķengarags.".
Irisa Janevica not only cares to have everything prepared for the festival at Mežaparks, but will also participate in the festival with the Lielvārde choir.
