The Art Days opened with two local exhibits at the city's central library. Inga Vasiļjeva's colorful textiles and felt can be enjoyed by adults and children alike - as could be suggested by the exhibit's playful title "Whirlpool of felt".
While Sergey and Stanislav Minakovski will feature an exhibit titled Nature of Latgale featuring paintings of forest, flowers and lakes of Latgale.
On April 24, the third anniversary of the Mark Rothko Art Center will put new Mark Rothko originals on display along with exhibits by local artists.
Hurry up, as the current exhibition of Rothko originals is still on show, and entry to the center will be free on April 10, the last day when the works are here.
The Daugavpils Art Days will continue until May 14 with multiple exhibits and workshops.
