Many thanks to all the Song and Dance Celebration performers, organizers and helpers for a truly memorable week. The feelings generated by the unique events of the last few days are best summed up by Paula Pērkone of the dance group "Daiļraide" who told LTV that at some point the group's leader, gathering all the dancers, said "this was a week in an ideal Latvia".
Similar sentiments were expressed by Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis who tweeted "we can and always will be proud of our song festival in the whole world!"
