On October 4, following concerts in Liepāja and Rēzekne, singer Kristīne Opolais - nominated for a Grammy award last year - performed at the Latvian National Opera, with Latvian Radio 3 streaming the performance.
"Dreams and ambitions make up the program," said the singer. "It will feature arias of a quite diverse character. I think this abundance of colors will help [me] - I like changing emotions, I like experiments and I like taking risks."
Kristīne Opolais was accompanied by the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sesto Quatrini. The concert features opera music by Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, and others.
