Meanwhile in the documentary section nominations went to Baltic Tribes, Bridges of Time, Mērija's Journey, as well as D is for Division and To Be Continued.
A total of 58 films were submitted to the award. The works will be judged by an international jury and the winners will be named November 12.
A bumper crop of state-funded centenary films should make the competition particularly fierce this year, but of course there are privately funded flicks appearing as well.
