Latvian rap at Melnā Piektdiena
Arturs Skutelis is an old star of Latvia's flourishing rap scene, most recently known for albums with his band Tvērumi. He'll be performing solo on Friday evening at the Melnā Piektdiena club in Rīga, together with Viņa (Her), Idus Abra, and ansis -- a veritable star line up that serves as a great introduction to what Latvian rappers are capable of.

The Big Cleanup
The annual Big Cleanup is taking place across Latvia on April 28. More than 1,700 Big Clean-up spots have been added to the event's online map, which means there'll be at least 1,700 people cleaning up Latvia this very Saturday.
