Experimental cinema, music and art is in store for this weekend's events brought to you by LSM.

Process experimental film fest

The impressive Process experimental film is taking place March 22 to March 25 in Rīga featuring screenings and performances involving analog cinema tools.

You can still make it to several screenings, including the ending performance featuring live audiovisual performances using analog tools, such as a 16 mm film projector.

Jessy Lanza in Venstpils

Hailed as a fresh talented pop and R&B voice, Jessy Lanza has received extremely positive coverage in music outlets such as Pitchfork.

She's performing in Ventspils at 9 p.m. on March 25 alongside MNTHA and DJ Uldis Rudaks.

Modern art in Riga

March 24, at 7 pm will see the opening of kim? Contemporary Art Centre's new series of exhibitions.

It features three solo shows - papier-mache installations by Mexican artist Rodrigo Hernandez; sculptures alongside an automaton by Ieva Kraule; as well as dissipating paintings by Maija Luutonen.

Entry is free on the opening night, plus there are drinks.
