December 11 sees a conference taking place at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel in Rīga in which participants will discuss the ways in which Latvia marked its centenary in 2018 and the ways in which the centenary will continue to be marked in future.

The event will be in Latvian with simultaneous English translation available online and the full agenda is available in the PDF attached to this story.

Participants include Culture Minister Nauris Puntulis, various public officials, academics and guests from both Estonia and Lithuania who will be offering their own comparative experiences. Watch via the livestream above. 

The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 Rīga time (08:00 GMT) and runs until approximately 14:30.
