In connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Latvian beverage producer Cido Group has stopped exports to Russia and Belarus, Cido said in a release March 11.

The Cido Group indicated that the company's annual export volume to these countries amounted to more than one million euro or a tenth of its total export volume.

Cido Group board member Marijus Valdas Kirstukas said not only financial support is important to Ukraine but also a refusal to operate on the Russian market, stopping exports and production on that market.

The company has supplied food products to the support center established by the Riga City Council for Ukrainian residents in the Congress Hall and plans to continue providing assistance. Products have also been sent to Ukraine.

The company is also prepared to offer jobs to Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war.
