In the first part of the event, the Spanish writer Mercedes Cebrián will share her impressions gained in December 2022, which she spent in Ventspils in the house of writers and translators. She also wrote a book called "Letonia hasta en la sopa", which describes her experience in Latvia experience through the prism of gastronomy.
In the second part, the Spanish translator Rafael Martín Calvo will share his experiences as a translator wrestling with the nuances of Spanish and Latvian culture and language.
