"We invite individuals/translators and legal persons/publishers who have experience working with Latvian authors or have interest in publishing or translating Latvian literature to take part in the grant competition," said LL.
The deadline for applications is February 21st, 2024. Only online submissions are accepted and the guidelines of the grant program plus project applications can be found HERE.
There are two different sections: “FOR PUBLISHERS” and “FOR TRANSLATORS”. Within five days after the dead-line, applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail that an application has been received. The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts. The projects receiving financial support will be announced by March 15th, 2024.
The grant program is financed by The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
