The nominees of the Latvian literature award in seven categories – the best work of poetry, the best work of prose, the best translation of foreign literature prose into Latvian, the best translation of foreign literature poetry into Latvian, the best work of the Latvian author's original literature for children, the brightest debut in literature and the brightest work in literatary science – were announced on March 28.
Readings of LALIGABA nominees will take place on April 11 (poetry readings) and April 18 (prose text readings) at 18:30 at the Arts Center Noass.
The LALIGABA award ceremony will take place on April 30 at the Āgenskalns market.
