Marking the centenary of the publication of Joyce's masterpiece, Ulysses, the exhibition has already appeared in Rīga and Daugavpils.
As well as information stands , the exhibition features a computer hooked up to a documentary about Joyce and there are even a few free copies of one of Joyce's more accessible works, Dubliners, available to the earliest visitors.
Irish ambassador to Latvia Eimear Friel was on hand November 3 to open the latest appearance of the exhibition, which has now travelled amost as much as its famously peripatetic subject. She spared some time for a quick interview with LSM about Joyce's continuing significance.
As previously reported by LSM, James Joyce has been the subject of several events in Latvia in recent years, including celebrations to mark 'Bloomsday' on June 16 – the day upon which the action in Ulysses takes place in Dublin.
