A first trailer has been published for the eagerly-anticipated release of a screen adaptation of Janis Joņevs' popular novel Jelgava 94.
The movie of the book, directed by Jānis Ābele, is a coming-of-age tale set in the eponymous city in southern Latvia, with strong elements of grunge and metal music plus teenage romance.
It is set for its premiere on September 18 and will go on general release immediately afterwards.
