EFFE is a Brussels-based European Festivals Association program supported by the European Commission and the European Parliament. The award of “EFFE Label” is assessed by an international panel of experts assessing various quality standards of the festival. “EFFE Label” guarantees the inclusion of the festival in the European festival network in FestivalFinder.eu, which regularly provides information to good music fans and the media about events in almost all European countries.
The festival quality is assessed by its artistic program, organizational quality, and international importance.
The 24th international festival of improvisation, jazz, and global music 'Rīgas ritmi' will take place from July 3 to 6 this year. The main concert venue will be Riga Doma garden, where the biggest concerts will take place on July 4 and 5. The festival stages will also be located at Riga Jazz Lounge Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija, Phoenix Lounge at the Aston Hotel Riga and Jersika stage Art Center Noass, while the Latvian Radio 1 Studio will host the open masterclasses of festival artists.
