Tautumeitas, known for their haunting choral harmonies, are listed on the Glastonbury website as playing the 'Toad Hall' venue at this year's festival, which is expected to attract in excess of 200,000 visitors in total.
Great to see the massively successful Latvian 🇱🇻 ethno-pop band #Tautumeitas joining the line-up of the @glastonbury 🇬🇧. Hear their powerful vocals on 21 & 24 June. We wish you an incredible performance, Tautumeitas! ℹ️: https://t.co/YY8OvxG9E3. 📷: A.Analts, V.Āboltiņš pic.twitter.com/BfJJh1zYrt

The band will perform twice: at the opening event of the festival on June 21 and on the Toad Hall stage on Saturday, June 24, shortly after midnight. Tautumeitas is only the third group from Latvia to perform at Glastonbury, following in the footsteps of Prata Vetra and Dagamba.
Asnate Rancāne, a member of Tautumeitas, said: "Glastonbury festival is the dream of many musicians, so we are excited and have been impatiently keeping it a secret for several months that this year we will not only perform there with a concert, but also be part of the grand opening ceremony of the festival right on the night of the summer solstice!"
If you would like to catch them before 'Glasto', they will be warming up with a performance in Kuldīga on June 17.
