Liepāja Lake Music festival to set sail in July

Take note – story published 2 years ago

The tradition launched in recent years with summer concerts on Liepāja Lake has been transformed into a festival Liepāja Lake Music, which will take place over three days from July 7 to July 9 in the recreational park Austrumu forts, the organizers said.

Different genres will be heard at the festival. Currently, Latvian and Lithuanian musicians and bands are included in the list of performers. The first day of the festival will be devoted to jazz and funk music, with the band “Very Cool People” and the Lithuanian jazz band “Castor Stetson”. The next day pop singers Būū and Patrisha will entertain the audience, with the poprock bands Kautkaili and Rīgas Modes closing the final day.

Visitors will be able to listen to concerts both from the island in the lake and in rafts, boats or SUPs. Arts and crafts activities will also take place.

Information on the festival will be published on its website and social media.
